With gratitude to God, here we let slip our slides from the history of Sirajul Huda English Medium School, Meppayur a continuous journey of 18 years.

Sirajul huda English medium school has been stepping from success to success all through the years since 2003 and the past year has been no exception. We have done excellently in academics and non-academic areas. With a great pleasure I present the highlights of the past academic year 2021- 22.

Re opening
It was being conducted via virtual mode on June 1 st , General manager of the trust Janab Abdurahman Musliyar Perode addressed the students .The staff along with management welcomed the students and their parents.

Academic excellence:
“Excellence is an art won by training and habituation” The system of education in Sirajul Huda English Medium School Meppayur is a blend of theory and practice in the right proportion to arrive at a comprehensive curriculum.

Teacher enhancement program:
We believe in equipping teachers to prepare the students for the future and to update their knowledge, so the school arranges teachers’ orientation program every year and in the last year it was in virtual mode directed by CBSE & other Sahodaya complexes. Regular staff meetings are conducted to evaluate our quality of performance and for the future with more innovative methods of teaching and learning process.

Examinations
Periodical assessment and terminal evaluations are conducted for the students and their progress is informed to parents frequently. Subject enrichment activities are done by the students and teachers evaluate this and used as internal assessment.

Co-curricular activities and celebrations
Our school is not only focuses upon the intellectual development of our students but also takes care of their emotional and behavioural development by inculcating Moral values and social awareness .we are practicing it through different co-curricular activities and school celebrations.

World environment day:
Environment day celebration inaugurated the Principal Mr Mohammed Jabir by planting a sapling at school campus and all the students planted saplings in their home. Students exhibited eco-friendly materials.

Reading day:
In order to promote the reading skills and habits among the students’ different activities conducted for students.

Independence Day
On this special day national Flag was hoisted at school and conducted cultural programs for students section wise via Google meet. Students actively participated & enjoyed the program. Principal Jabir sir delivered freedom day message.

National science day
A grand science expo was organised in connection with science day. Students exhibited different working & still models in the expo. Expo was launched Abdu Raheem master; Vice Principal of the school .it was a memorable event to students and teachers.

Sports meet
Sports meet is the most important event in the school. This year it was organised in a grand manner. Students were divided into three groups named as Blue, Green & Red and almost all items included in the meet. Meet is officially declared open by Principal Mr Mohammed Jabir .It was a golden opportunity to students to exhibit their sports skills.

Launched water pot for birds
Mazhavil club of our school launched a remarkable campaign to set up water pots for birds to quench their thirst in hot season .This campaign launched by Administrator Kocheri Kunhabdulla Saqafi at school campus by placing a water pot. All students did same at their houses.

Annual Parents conclave
Annual conclave for the parents particularly for grade 6toX was conducted at school conference hall .This conclave discussed the importance & possibilities of NCERT curriculum. Almost all parents, concerned actively involved.

Magazine Release
School magazine is an important milestone in every academic year. This year our students made a very good digital magazine named. Releasing ceremony was conducted at school campus. Ceremony was inaugurated by General Secretary of the trust honourable Perode Abdurahman Musliyar .Mr Ashraf Kavil, Poet, author & laureate launched the magazine & delivered key note address. PTA president Aboobacker Tholeri participated .it was really helpful to students to show case their inner talents and creative ideas.

Parent teacher Association:
We have a strong support of our parents which we cherish every year. The PTA general body meeting is an occasion to acknowledge their service to the school. We had many virtual meetings with the parents to discuss on teaching learning process.

AISSE 22 Results

Excellent CBSE class 10th result, as always, filled us with pride and I feel honoured to mention that, we had 100% results for the academic 2021-22. One of our students secured 94%. 2 students scored above 80%, 3 students scored above 70% and 2 students scored 65%above. General Secretary Janab Abdul Rahman Musliyar, Perode congratulated the outstanding winners and mementoes were awarded to them.

I thank the supportive management whose continuous support and encouragement enabled the school to come this so far. Teachers and entire staff also deserve applause for their tireless efforts in implementing the route map of imparting quality education here.

We hope to move forward with our priorities, innovation in our educational programmes, intellectual ambitions and globalization in education. I extend my hearty thanks to all students and parents for their wholehearted support

Sirajul Huda English Medium School Meppayur hosted 16 Annual sports meet on the 02nd and 03rd February 2022 at the school ground. The opening ceremony was graced by the presence of school officials, Manager, Administrative officer, Principal and other staffs. Madam Shyama head of physical education welcome the gathering. The March past by the houses that followed exhibited discipline and hardcore practice of the students. School leader led the march past and administered the oath to the house captains and the participants. The administrative officer hoisted the flag, after Principal officially declared the sports meet.

The events were conducted in three groups named Red, Blue, and Green. Games items such as Shuttle, Badminton, Football, Volleyball and Tug of war also conducted in connected with the sports meet. 100mtr, 200mtr, 400mtr, 1500mtr, Long jump, High jump, Shot put , Discus throw, Javelin throw, 4x100mtr relay events conducted and team Blue was the winner with 368 points and team Red became first runners up with 342 points.

Winners were congratulated in the venue itself. Principal, Manger, Teacher, School leader were distributed the medals and certificates for winners. All the athletes were participated energetically and enthusiastically in the meet neglecting the bad weather condition. Over all winners were rewarded by the principal vice principal and PET head all the school staffs were also present in the dais.

The event came to an end successfully with the vote of thanks, leaving thrilling memories in the hearts of each and every one present there.
