I am over the moon to present you the annual report of 2022-23 academic year. As we share the yearly updates of our activities, we did our best to do as we had planned. We are proud of our students and teachers who strive hard to achieve beyond expectations.

Opening day
On June 1, 2022, the school reopened for Upper Kindergarten to Class 10 students. They were welcomed to the campus by the principal and teachers. A festive atmosphere was prepared for the school students. A special assembly was held to receive the students. Greeting cards and sweets were distributed.

Initiation ceremony to Newly enrolled students
A commencement ceremony was held on June 8 in the school conference hall for the newly admitted students. It was started under the leadership of founder and general manager PM Abdurrahiman Musaliar, Perode

Academic achievement
We are very happy to share that our students of Xth who appeared for 22-23 CBSE board examination and passed with flying colours. We achieved 100 percentage result. All students except one got first class and above marks.

Investiture ceremony
It was an important event in the campus. The oath taking ceremony of representatives of students’ council in various positions such as School leader, Head girl, General captain, Fine arts secretary, Students Editor. This program was conducted in the month of July. Special badge were given to all selected representatives by Sub inspector of Meppayur Mr. Sathyan.

Enhancement program for teachers and students
To sharpen the tool of teachers we had conducted various work shop and training sessions held at Sirajul Huda English Medium School throughout the year. Our teachers have attended many orientation programmes organized by CBSE CoE, NCERT and Sahahodaya school complex. Special motivational session to students also conducted. Regular staff meeting is conducted each month to evaluate the quality of performance and plan for the future. Parent Teacher Association
We have strong support from our parents which we appreciate every year. The first PTA meeting was held on July 30. The 2022-23 executive members of the PTA were elected at this meeting. PTA general meeting in 4 times and class PTA 3 times were held in this academic year. Most parents actively participated in all meetings and provide valuable feedback.

Celebrations & Day Observations
All-important days were observed in the campus. Important among them were world environment day Reading Day, Moon Day, Basheer day, Independence Day, Teachers Day, Hindi Diwas, World Health Day, World Postal day, Kerala Piravi, Childrens day, Maths Day, Republic Day, Science Day and so on. Variety events of students were performed in all the celebrations.

Intra& inter Arts fest
To unleash the innate capacities of pupils, Arts fest was conducted in school and inter school level. Students were categorised into three houses and assigned teachers to lead them. Around four hundred participants competed in different programs. Inter school fest was held at Sirajul Huda English Medium School, Perambra, and many of our students were performed well in the fest.

Sports meet
"Sports teaches us how to lose, but it also teaches us how not to be a loser " It was grand meet held in the school ground. The meet was officially inaugurated by respected madam. Athulya K B, Sub inspector of police, Meppayur. Competition was held in various events like football, badminton, chess, volley ball, 1500m race, 400m race, 200m race, 100m race, long jump, high jump, short put and javelin throw. Selected students from the school were given the opportunity to participate at the inter-school level. This year's inter-school sports fair was held at Darul Huda English Medium School, Nadapuram. Our students performed well in the meet.

Excursions
Our school organizes excursions and field trips every year to help gain firsthand knowledge and augment their academic learning transacted beyond the confines of a class room in joyful company of Peer and friends. This year the trip was to Meadow view children’s park for kindergarten, Wayanad to LP section and Thrissur Marine world to UP & HS respectively.

Magazine release
Our school magazine Zensta 22-23 edition was released by Famous Poet Mr. Lithesh Nadukkandi.

Annual Parents conclave
Annual conclave for the parents particularly for grade 6toX was conducted at school conference hall .This conclave discussed the importance & possibilities of NCERT curriculum. Almost all parents, concerned actively involved.

Conclusion
The good work of school is the hard work of students, parents, teachers and timely support from several quarters on behalf of the school. I hereby express our sincere thanks and heartfelt gratitude to the Management teachers, parents’ students and all well-wishers. Sirajul Huda English Medium School Meppayur hosted 16 Annual sports meet on the 02nd and 03rd February 2022 at the school ground. The opening ceremony was graced by the presence of school officials, Manager, Administrative officer, Principal and other staffs. Madam Shyama head of physical education welcome the gathering. The March past by the houses that followed exhibited discipline and hardcore practice of the students. School leader led the march past and administered the oath to the house captains and the participants. The administrative officer hoisted the flag, after Principal officially declared the sports meet.

The events were conducted in three groups named Red, Blue, and Green. Games items such as Shuttle, Badminton, Football, Volleyball and Tug of war also conducted in connected with the sports meet. 100mtr, 200mtr, 400mtr, 1500mtr, Long jump, High jump, Shot put , Discus throw, Javelin throw, 4x100mtr relay events conducted and team Blue was the winner with 368 points and team Red became first runners up with 342 points.

Winners were congratulated in the venue itself. Principal, Manger, Teacher, School leader were distributed the medals and certificates for winners. All the athletes were participated energetically and enthusiastically in the meet neglecting the bad weather condition. Over all winners were rewarded by the principal vice principal and PET head all the school staffs were also present in the dais.

The event came to an end successfully with the vote of thanks, leaving thrilling memories in the hearts of each and every one present there.
